Party Plaid and Denim

"Its funny how money changes situations"- Lauren Hill

And the issue is it shouldn't… But it does… Life is funny that way. What that has to do with this post, Im not exactly sure but its something thats been weighing on me heavy. As someone who didn't grow up rich, I certainly didn't grow up poor and I think it gives me a somewhat neutral perspective and an understanding of people from all walks of life.

With that said, Its important to realize that while money can change how you live, it shouldn't change your life. Thats what I love about thrifting for vintage. I find it to not only be fashionably rewarding but also rewarding to my spirit. Its very humbling to know that I can create amazing looks that get people excited and talking with just a few bucks because the foundation for a great look in this game is a lot of creativity and a lot of love. Love for what you do and especially a  love for self.

So for all my ladies new to thrifting or nervous about the possibilities of even trying it, Just get out and do! If you know and love yourself sky's the limit!

The look: So its half and half thrifted! Ive been searching for a vintage pair of plaid pants FOREVER! So imagine my joy when I thrifted these for under $5! No alterations necessary! The pants belt and overcoat are thrifted finds the rest are pieces are from my closet…

For all my fellow thrifters reading, whats your favorite part of thrifting?
