Vintage DIY: Vintage Good Form Office Chair

Now this is a noux one! Recently I was inspired by a friend (and Pinterest) to take on some DIY  decor projects after she completed some beautiful glass end tables. I had found a few pieces while out thrifting and decided to use it as an opportunity to finish setting up my home office!

I thrifted this vintage 1950s mid-century Good Form swivel chair in good vintage condition for a mere $1.60. While I had no intention of using a swivel chair in my office space, at that price I couldn't leave it. The ugly green was definitely not flowing with the vision, I took to pointers to decide my options and violĂ ! Vinyl paint! While some would say it destroys the resale life, (this style chair is going on the resale market for around $120 and up) it has more value to me painted white!
And that's what I did!

Below you'll find the finished product as well as the supplies needed to comply the project! In total including the chair this cost me about $16!
Cant beat that for a great office chair!

So what do you think? Would you like to see more posts like this? Comment below and let me know!

 The Before

The vinyl paint can be found at your local AutoZone or other auto care store. I found that AutoZone in my area had the best color selection. Cost: 7.85 with tax
The Glitter paint was $4.00 on sale at my local Walmart a well as the primer for $1.50.
